The "digmed Internet portal" introduces a new dimension of operating theatre data management. Participating hospitals can access their benchmark figures at any time conveniently online. Defined characteristics allow for individual, more detailed definition of the key performance indicators (KPIs). Benchmarking against other hospitals and departments defines the hospital’s current position relative to best practice. The analysis may identify crucial areas of adjustment and continuously monitors the implementation of change.
Supported by experienced theatre managers we have extracted a standard selection of key data for reporting that are relevant for proactive theatre management. Furthermore customised KPIs can be integrated into performance analysis by the "digmed Internet portal". We work together with the hospital’s team to increase the efficiency of care processes.
To further develop the KPIs we link the everyday experience of the participating theatre managers to our medical expertise, economical knowledge and process management know-how. Thus, the theatre manager can focus on change management and strategic development of their service portfolio.
